We have an opportunity for an outstanding Supervisor to oversee the production team in our Plastics Department. Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and control of daily plastic injection moulding shift operations. This is an autonomous and fast-paced role, and you must have demonstrated exceptional leadership in previous roles.

More specifically you will be responsible for:

• Production of quality plastic products.

• Maximisation of output through efficient moulding.

• Minimisation of machine downtime, waste and rework.

• Compliance with applicable safety, quality and environmental requirements.

• Ensuring raw materials are available and ready.

• Ensuring orders are produced to customers' requirements in a cost-efficient manner.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate the team.

• Creating an environment oriented on trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• 3+ years’ experience in a Supervisor role within fast-paced manufacturing/production environments where you are required to manage the production plan.

• Experience in plastic, extrusion or blow moulding would be highly regarded.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver performance improvement of teams you have led.

• Experienced working with stringent Quality Control procedures.

• A high level of initiative and readiness to learn and adapt to change.

• Workplace Health and Safety mindset.
